Levels Housing

All Levels students will arrange housing upon official acceptance to the course. There are many accommodation options at extremely affordable prices. The options listed below are from Sunday, July 23rd through Friday afternoon, August 4th (included the weekend in-between for Levels folks) and include food lovingly prepared with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Housing registration forms will go out with course acceptances. (Please Note: All commuters must pay a $525 food/facility fee for the two-week course and all housing payments are non-refundable.)

Hidden Valley, an Institute of the Performing Arts, is nestled in the glorious, scenic Carmel Valley just ten miles from the internationally famous Monterey/Carmel area. Hidden Valley is an exciting arts training center providing young talents from around the world with performance and study opportunities of excellence. Wright Hall is our recently remodeled 20 room, single story, on-campus residence hall. Rooms are designed for double occupancy and more and each has a private bath. The charming, rustic 10-acre campus includes a 300-seat theatre, a fireside room, a dance studio, and numerous decks and patios. Hidden Valley is accessible by bus, plane, and train.
Directions:
We highly recommend flying into the San Jose Airport and arranging transportation on the Monterey Airbus Shuttle system. You can visit http://www.montereyairbus.com to book your transit directly to the Hidden Valley Campus. For those who prefer to rent a car, the directions are:
- Hidden Valley is located exactly 11.2 miles east of Hwy 1 on the Carmel Valley Road (G-16) in Carmel Valley, California. Traveling east on G-16, Hidden Valley is located on the right side just past Ford Road. The campus entrance is distinguished by a hand-carved sign denoting Hidden Valley, An Institute of the Arts.
- Traveling on Hwy 101 from the south, take the Monterey Peninsula exit in Salinas (called Sanborn Road) and follow it west (Sanborn Rd. becomes Blanco Road) to Hwy 68. Turn left onto Hwy 68 (west) and follow it about 9 miles until you see a sign for Laureles Grade (G-20) to Carmel Valley. Turn left onto G-20 and follow it until it ends (6 miles) at Carmel Valley Road (G-16). Turn left again and follow it to Hidden Valley (approx. 2 miles).
- Traveling on Hwy 101 from the north, Take the Monterey Peninsula/Hwy 156 exit and follow it west about 5 miles where it will automatically put you onto Hwy 1
- Traveling on Hwy 1, simply come to the Carmel Valley Road (G-16) (just south of Carmel) and once on the Carmel Valley Road, come out 11.2 miles.
