Wear comfortable clothing for movement. Required materials are noted with Level descriptions. These materials are available for pre-order from Mad Robin Music.  Orff instruments will also be available on-site for purchase at a reduced rate, courtesy of  Peripole Inc.

Those enrolled in the Levels Courses are recommended to stay onsite at Hidden Valley Music Seminars. The housing options will be available to students once official acceptances have been sent out. There are a number of options from Waddell Center to Lubow Lodge to nearby motels with various price ranges. Meals are included in housing fees and are required for all students. There is a facility/food fee for those choosing to stay offsite or commute to the course. This fee is mandatory.

While we would like to accept all who apply, limited space makes it necessary to accept students on the basis of a combination of qualifications – music/dance background, teaching experience, other Orff training, proof of vaccination and other criteria. A short vita is required with the registration form. Notification of acceptance will begin in late January to early February – we highly recommend applying as early as possible. Upon acceptance into a course, a 50% tuition payment will be due by March 15, 2023 to confirm your spot and the remaining 50% due by May 15, 2023. We cannot hold your spot until we receive payment. All 5-day courses are $675 and all 10-day courses are $1,320. Credit will be available for an additional cost.

Refunds are subject to additional enrollment and we will withhold a $100 administrative charge for cancellation before May 15th.  No refunds after May 15th, unless your spot is filled by another participant.

Tuition for those taking the Levels courses is $1,320 and for those who want continuing education credit (four semester credits for the two week course) it is $1,540. Tuition for those taking the Jazz Course is $675 and for those who want continuing education credit (two semester credits for the one-week course) it is $785. These Continuing Education Credits will be administered through Dominican University of California and are not applicable to foreign students.

We will be requiring proof of vaccination against Covid-19 (fully vaccinated with a World Health Organization/WHO approved vaccine) for all teachers and students in summer courses. We will also be following safety protocols established by the US Centers for Disease Control, state, and local health organizations. We will also be following best practices of other summer Level Courses running in different parts of the country this summer.
