WHAT TO BRING
Wear comfortable clothing for movement. Required materials are noted with Level descriptions. These materials are available for pre-order from Peripole Inc, who will also be providing the Orff instruments for use in the course and available on-site for purchase at a reduced rate.
HOUSING ACCOMMODATIONS
Those enrolled in the Levels Courses are recommended to stay onsite at Hidden Valley Music Seminars. The housing options will be available to students once official acceptances have been sent out. There are a number of options from Waddell Center to Lubow Lodge to nearby motels with various price ranges. Meals are included in the housing fees (Waddell Center/Lubow Lodge) and are required for all students. There is a facility/food fee for those choosing to stay offsite or commute to the course. This fee is mandatory.
APPLICATION PROCESS
While we would like to accept all who apply, limited space makes it necessary to accept students on the basis of a combination of qualifications – music/dance background, teaching experience, other Orff training, and other criteria. A short vita is required with the registration form. Notification of acceptance will begin in late January to early February – we highly recommend applying as early as possible. Upon acceptance into a course, a 50% tuition payment will be due by March 15, 2026 to confirm your spot and the remaining 50% due by May 15, 2026. We cannot hold your spot until we receive payment. All 10-day courses are $1,475. And our three-day course is $460. Credit will be available for an additional cost.
Refunds are subject to additional enrollment and we will withhold a $150 administrative charge for cancellation before May 15th. No refunds after May 15th, unless your spot is filled by another participant.
TUITION AND CREDIT
Tuition for those taking the Levels courses and The Jazz Course is $1,475 and for those who want continuing education credit (four semester credits for the two-week course) it is $1,695. Tuition for those taking the Orff Music and Movement in Early Childhood course is $460 and for those who want continuing education credit (one semester credit for the three-day course) it is $515. These Continuing Education Credits will be administered through Dominican University of California and are not applicable to foreign students.
